“What documents are required to enter Bolivia from Mexico?”
Basic documents you need
Valid Mexican Passaport
You must present a Mexican passport that is valid for at least six months from your date of entry into Bolivia . This is a general immigration requirement and is usually required to allow entry into the country.

You don’t need a tourist visa (short trip)
Mexican citizens do not require a visa to enter Bolivia for tourism purposes . Bolivia allows visa-free entry for short stays, which usually covers up to 90 days per year (although some sources mention up to 180 consecutive days). It is best to confirm the exact duration with the Embassy before your trip.
Note: Although a visa is not required, always check with the Bolivian Embassy or Consulate in Mexico for any specific updates.
Other requirements that may be requested at the border
Yellow fever vaccine (if applicable)
An international certificate of vaccination against yellow fever may be required if you are coming from areas with a risk of transmission or if you plan to visit Amazonian regions. It is not always requested, but it is advisable to carry it if your itinerary includes at-risk areas.

Proof of funds or return ticket (subject to immigration discretion)
Although not always requested, sometimes immigration officers may ask you for:
Return or onward ticket
Hosting Receipts
Proof of sufficient funds
to ensure that your trip is for tourism and temporary purposes.
Health requirements (COVID-19)
Bolivia has eliminated the requirement to present a PCR test or COVID-19 vaccination certificate to enter the country. Strict health measures have been officially lifted, so there are currently no mandatory COVID requirements.
Pre-travel recommendations
Check the validity of your passport and, if it is close to expiring, renew it before traveling .
Even if you are not required to have a visa, check the maximum duration of your stay without a visa with immigration or the consulate to avoid problems.
Carry copies of your documents and the contacts of the Mexican Embassy in Bolivia in case of any eventuality.

Additional recommendations (sometimes required)
Although not legally required, you can bring these documents to facilitate your entry :
Return or departure ticket from Bolivia (proof of departure).
Accommodation booking or invitation letter if you are staying with family/friends.
Proof of sufficient funds for your stay.
International certificate of vaccination against yellow fever , only if you come from risk areas or plan to visit Amazonian areas.

These recommendations are not strict official requirements, but immigration authorities may request them at the airport or border to verify the purpose and financial capacity of your trip.
