It is an ideal trekking route for people who love adventure sports.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #a24d4e;\">Location<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>It is located in the small town of Incahua\u00edn (4,140 m.a.s.l.), district of Queropalca, province of Lauricocha, department of Hu\u00e1nuco.<\/p>\n<h3>Altitude<\/h3>\n<p>The Carhuacocha Lagoon is located at an altitude of 4,140 m.a.s.l.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00bfHow to get to Laguna Carhuacocha?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>From Hu\u00e1nuco<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>From the department of Hu\u00e1nuco we must head towards the district of Queropalca, passing by the Lauricocha lagoon and after 12 hours of travel arrive at Queropalca, which belongs to the province of Lauricocha. The entrance to the Cordillera de Huayhuash route is paid at an entrance fee of S\/. 20.00 for Peruvian tourists and S\/. 40.00 for foreigners.<\/p>\n<p>To reach Laguna Carhuacocha, you must walk 10 km. Good physical endurance is required, as the hike is moderate to challenging. Once you reach the lagoon, you can choose to climb to the viewpoint of the three lagoons (4,550 m above sea level), which is a 7 km hike.<\/p>\n<h3>Activities to be carried out within the Tourist Resource<\/h3>\n<p>Observation of landscapes and snow-capped mountains of the Huayhuash Mountain Range (El Carnicero, Siula Grande, Yerupaj\u00e1 Grande, Yerupaj\u00e1 Chico and Jirishanca).<\/p>\n<h3>Favorable time to visit the Tourist Resource<\/h3>\n<p>It is recommended to visit between the months of May and September, due to the lower rainfall.
