Reserve Park \u2013 Magic Water Circuit<\/h3>\n

The Parque de la Reserva and its famous Magic Water Circuit are among Lima’s most interesting and iconic public spaces. This site blends history, architecture, green areas, and a breathtaking nighttime water and light show that captivates people of all ages. Located between main streets and near the Historic Center, it’s a must-see for everyone, from tourists to Lima families, offering a unique experience in the city.<\/p>\n

A Place Steeped in History<\/h3>\n

The Parque de la Reserva opened to the public in 1929 to honor the Peruvian reservists who defended the city during the War of the Pacific. Its initial design follows a European neoclassical style, with sculptures, gazebos, ponds, and gardens reminiscent of the grand urban parks of the 20th century.
\nOver time, the park became a cultural hub until, in 2007, the Lima government launched the Magic Water Circuit project, adding interactive fountains, LED lights, and a multimedia show that completely transformed the park.<\/p>\n

Today, the park is known as one of the world’s largest fountain complexes, has received numerous awards, and is one of Lima’s most popular nighttime attractions.<\/p>\n

Main Attractions of the Magic Water Circuit<\/h4>\n

1. Magic Fountain<\/h4>\n

This is the park’s most impressive fountain, with a central jet that can reach up to 80 meters in height. At night, its colorful lights create a visual spectacle that leaves everyone in awe.<\/p>\n

2. Fantasy Fountai<\/h4>\n

This venue features a multimedia show combining water, light, and music. Water jets move to the rhythm of the music, images are projected onto the water curtains, and there are sound effects, all during a 15-minute presentation. Regular showtimes are: 7:15 pm \u2013 8:15 pm \u2013 9:10 pm.<\/p>\n

3. Tunnel of Surprises<\/h4>\n

This is a passageway over 30 meters long where you walk between shimmering water arches. It’s a perfect spot for taking photos and recording videos.<\/p>\n

It’s a small maze made of jets of water that go back and forth. It’s great fun, and yes, there’s a good chance of getting a little wet.<\/p>\n

This space is designed for children to have fun playing. It’s the liveliest area for families.<\/p>\n
