Tiene una estructura de forma de pir\u00e1mide trunca, a base de piedra y argamasa de barro, su exquisita iconograf\u00eda plasmada en piedra expresa y sintetiza la visi\u00f3n del mundo chav\u00edn. Desarrollada entre los a\u00f1os 1500 a 550 a.c.
