PETROGLIFOS DE CHICHICTARA<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Los petroglifos de Chichictara tambi\u00e9n llamado petroglifos de Chichiktara es una zona de afloramientos rocosos y derrumbes que se encuentra a la ladera del cerro del mismo nombre.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ubicaci\u00f3n<\/b><\/h2>\n

Los petroglifos de Chichictara estan ubicados en el sector de Chichictara, en el valle del distrito Palpa, provincia Palpa, departamento Ica<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Toponimia<\/b><\/h3>\n

La palabra Chichictara proviene del vocablo quechua que significa \u201cLluvia de Arenas\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00bfQu\u00e9 son los Petroglifos de Chichictara?<\/b><\/h4>\n

Los Petroglifos de Chichictara son representaciones graficas o grabados en formaciones rocosas elaborado al aire libre. Estos s\u00edmbolos se encuentran grabados en 150 piedras volc\u00e1nicas aprox.<\/span><\/p>\n

En el lugar se puede apreciar m\u00e1s de 1200 figuras distribuido a 3 km aprox., ubicados estrat\u00e9gicamente en 3 sectores:<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/i><\/span> Ciclo o etapas de la vida:<\/strong> Primer sector ubicado en las quebradas, se caracteriza por presentar diferentes etapas de la vida humana.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0En el segundo sector ubicado en las colinas del cerro se puede apreciar petroglifos en forma de aves.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/i> <\/span>En el tercer sector que esta ubicado en las quebradas, hay abundancia de petroglifos en forma de seres humanos, seres miticos, entre otros.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/i> <\/span>Hay registro de figuras antropomorfos (humanos), zoomorfos (animales), fitomorfos (plantas), geometricos, seres mitologicos de la cosmovisi\u00f3n andina (puma, serpiente de dos cabezas).<\/span><\/p>\n

Antiguedad\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n

Seg\u00fan los estudios realizados los petroglifos tienen una antiguedad de 2000 a.C. (siglo IX – III). Se considera que gran parte de las figuras pertenecen a la cultura Paracas<\/a>, debido a la similitud iconografica de las ceramicas.<\/span><\/p>\n

T\u00e9cnicas aplicadas en los petroglifos <\/b>de Chichictara<\/b><\/h3>\n

<\/i><\/span> Rayado o raspado:<\/b> Consiste en usar el filo de una lasca de roca o piedra.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/i> <\/span>Percusi\u00f3n: <\/b>Consiste en golpear una piedra contra otra piedra m\u00e1s dura, a manera del cincel y martillo para crear surcos en la superficie.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/i> <\/span>Abrasi\u00f3n:<\/b> Consiste en frotar la superficie de una piedra contra otra piedra para finalmente pulirla con arena y agua.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00bfC\u00f3mo llegar a los Petroglifos de Chichictara?<\/b><\/h4>\n

El sector de Chichictara se encuentra a 8 km de Palpa para poder llegar a los petroglifos debemos dirigirnos hacia la plaza de Palpa<\/a> ahi podra encontrar una movilidad particular que va con direcci\u00f3n por la v\u00eda Los Conquistadores, el viaje demorara unos 10 min.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Otra opci\u00f3n para poder llegar es caminando partiendo desde la plaza de Palpa, el tramo tiene una duraci\u00f3n de 20 min hasta llegar a los petroglifos.<\/span><\/p>\n

Los Petroglifos de Chichictara pueden ser visitados en compania de un guia en horario de 6:00 a.m a 16:00 p.m, de lunes a domingo durante todo el a\u00f1o.<\/span><\/p>\n
