Colca Canyon Tour has 2 variations, to do it in one day (Wich is tiring, as a recommendation just do it when you have no option). If you have more days, do not doubt in doing the Colca Canyon in 2 days.

The Colca Canyon is the fourth deepest canyon in the world, the second in America, the imposing and enigmatic Colca Canyon has positioned itself as the third most visited destination in Peru, due to the variety of activities that can be done: Culture, Adventure and Nature.

The Tour Colca Canyon 2 Days 1 Night, starts with the pick-up and then we will go to the first stop Pampa Cañahuas, then we will continue passing by Patahuasi until we arrive at Vizcachani where we will observe the llama and alpaca, then we will pass by Toccrapampa, then we will arrive at the highest point where we will have an incredible view of the Volcano mountain range, finally, we will arrive at Chivay where we will spend the night.

On the second day after breakfast, we will go to “Cruz del Condor” viewpoint from where we will observe the majestic condors, we will also pass by the Antahuilque viewpoint. At the end of the tour, we will return to Arequipa.

Colca Canyon 2 Days 1 Night

Arequipa – Chivay

Day 1

07:30 am to 08:00 am: Pick up from hotels in the centre of Arequipa.

08:00 am – We start our trip to one of the deepest and most beautiful canyons in the world. Our point of operation will be the town of Chivay, which we will reach in 04 hours approximately, counting all the tourist stops.

We will pass through the National Reserve of Salinas and Aguada Blanca, where we will be able to appreciate the vicuñas that live in this area.

Patahuasi drinks the traditional “Mate de coca”, an indispensable traditional drink for altitude sickness (soroche). Afterwards

We will make a short stop in the Bofedales de Toccra where we will observe a large number of Alpacas grazing freely in the area grazing freely in the area. An obligatory stop at the Volcano Valley View Point, the highest point of the trail, which reaches 4800 m.a.s.l., from where we will be able to see a great part of the Volcano mountain range. From this point, we will only need 40 minutes to reach the town of Chivay.

12:30 pm – We will arrive in Chivay to enjoy a delicious lunch. After lunch, we will settle into our respective hotels.

During the afternoon we will enjoy a relaxing bath in the hot springs whose thermo-medicinal waters range from 35º C to 38º C temperature in the pools. Then we will go to enjoy our Dinner

Overnight in Chivay.

Colca Canyon – Arequipa

Day 2

06:00 am – Breakfast. Then we will go to”Cruz del Condor” sightseeing, which is 30 minutes away and is the observation point of the Colca Canyon and the spectacular flight of the Condor. At this point, we will spend an average of 45 minutes observing the beauty of the Colca Canyon.

On the way back we will stop at the viewpoints of the area from where we will observe the impressive Valley platforms and the Maca Town, we will see its church and have the option of tasting local drinks such as the Colca Sour, made from local products of the area.

12:00 pm – Lunch in Chivay.

01: 15 pm – We will return to the city of Arequipa.

- If on the first day, we did not visit some points. On the way back we will be able to make stops to complete all the tourist points that are on the itinerary. Subjet to weather and the group.

04:30 pm – We will arrive in the city of Arequipa, and we will leave you near the Plaza de Armas.
