Itinerario
Pick up from airport – City tour Cusco
1
June 21st
- For the start of the tour Inti Raymi Tour and Machu Picchu 5 days 4 nights a representative of Chullos Travel Peru will be waiting for your arrival at the airport and your transfer to the hotel. Free morning to rest and acclimatize.
- 2:00 pm pick up from the hotel for the City tour, first place to visit koricancha (temple of the sun), guided tour of 45 minutes and then head to the mobility.
- After 30 minutes in the mobility we will arrive to Sacsayhuaman (from Quechua saqsay = place of satiation and waman = hawk, ie “Place where the hawk is satiated”) where we will have a guided tour of 1 hour.
- Then we will visit Qenqo (ritual center in a rocky outcrop) place of much mysticism that you will feel when you enter the rocky outcrop.
- After 15 minutes of mobility we will arrive at PucaPucara (red fortress) military construction.Last visit will be Tambomachay known as Bath of the Inca where water worship was performed. After our journey we will take the mobility for the return to Cusco, approximate time of arrival 6:30 pm.
Sacred Valley Connection

June 22th
- We will pass by the hotel at 8.00 am to start the tour of the sacred valley, after traveling 1 hour and a half in the mobility we will arrive at the ruins of Pisaq in which we will have a guided tour of 1 hour approx.
- Traveling in the direction of the river willka mayu or sacred river we will arrive to Urubamba capital of the sacred valley where we will have a buffet lunch (typical Andean food).
- After lunch we will travel 30 minutes by car to reach the town of Ollantaytambo to visit the archaeological site where we will have a guided tour of 1 hour, highlighting the Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana and the Princess Baths and Andean terraces.
- After having a guided tour of Ollantaytambo we have to go to the train station to board the train that will take us to Aguas Calientes where we will spend the night to visit Machu Picchu the next day (at night the guide will come to the hotel to give you all the details for your visit to Machu Picchu).

June 23rd
- Breakfast at your hotel, the guide will pick you up to go to the bus station where we will board the respective bus to get to the incredible wonder of the world Machu Picchu “The Lost City of the Incas”.
- Arriving at the citadel of Machu Picchu we will show the entrance ticket, from this place we will start the 2 hours guided tour.
- Then we will return to the town of Aguas Calientes to have lunch.
- In the afternoon you will take the train back to Cusco (check in 30 minutes before departure of your train).
- The return will be the same route of the outbound journey, upon arrival at the train station in Ollantaytambo will be waiting to take you to your hotel in Cusco.
Inti Raymi Cusco

June 24th
- We will pass by the hotel at 7.00 am to go to the Temple of Qoricancha, we will hear the traditional music so the scene of the Inti Raymi will begin.
- Then, we will go with the group to the main square in company of the guide.
- Finally, we will go by car to the archaeological park of Sacsayhuaman to appreciate the ceremony to the Sun God, a spectacular festivity.
- The tour ends at 4:30 pm approx, return to your hotel.

- Depending on the time of your flight, the shuttle will go to your hotel to transfer you to the airport or bus terminal.

1: Where is Machu Picchu located?
The citadel of Machu Picchu is located in the south of Peru, it belongs to the department of Cusco, Machu Picchu is located 112.5 kilometers northeast of the city of Cusco.
2: Should I bring extra water?
Water is provided at meals. However, you should also carry an extra water bottle to avoid dehydration.
3: How much acclimatization time before my trek?
We recommend at least 1 day of acclimatization before the tour.
4: What meals are included?
Both breakfast and lunch are included in the trek, however we also have vegetarian and vegan options available.
5: What is the highest point on this trek?
The highest point is 2350 meters above sea level.
6: About health and safety?
Participants should inform us before and during the tour about any medical condition or injury. Although our guides carry first aid kits, it is recommended that you bring your own personal medication. We also suggest that you consult your doctor before booking this tour.
7: Where to store your belongings?
Any belongings (suitcases and backpacks) that you do not wish to take with you during the tour can be safely left at your accommodation, as they have luggage storage facilities. However, if you do not feel comfortable leaving your things there, you can also bring them to our office for storage during the tour.
8: Best time to go to Machu Picchu?
The best time to visit is in dry season, to clarify the city of Cusco has 2 types of weather:
