Itinerario
Cusco – Cloud forest – Bamboo lodge
1
Day 1
- We will pick you up at 6:00 a.m. to start the excursion. First, we will visit the Huarcapay Lake, known for its biodiversity.
- Then, we will explore the pre-Inca funeral towers of Ninamarca in Huancarani.
- We will continue to Manu National Park, crossing a dense cloud forest.
- There, we will see the impressive Cock of the Rock in its natural habitat. Overnight at the Bamboo Lodge.

Day 2
- The tour will begin at 6:30 a.m. to Puerto Atalaya, where we will start our boat trip on the Madre de Dios River.
- During the trip, you will have the opportunity to spot a variety of birds, such as parrots, macaws and vultures, as well as monkeys and capybaras, the largest rodents in the world, if we are lucky enough to find them.
- In the afternoon, we will arrive at our lodge and after settling in, we will venture on a 45 minute or 1 hour walk through the jungle to observe the diversity of wildlife that inhabits the area.

Day 3
- Early departure by boat to the macaw clay lick, a place where various species of birds gather to supplement their diet with clay.
- The show begins at 5:30 a.m. with the arrival of the medium-sized parrots, followed by the large macaws between 7:00 and 7:30 a.m.. In total, between 80 and 100 large macaws and more than 600 other species can be seen.
- After enjoying this natural spectacle, we will return to the lodge for the night.

Day 4

- The excursion begins with a walk in search of the majestic emperor monkeys and to enjoy some bird watching.
- Then, we will continue by boat to Cocha Blanco, where we will have the opportunity to observe a wide variety of birds, as well as monkeys, otters, caimans and turtles.
- Overnight at the lodge.
Day 5

Tapir Lodge – Puerto Maldonado – Cuzco
- We will start our return trip to Cusco or Lima sailing for 2 hours until we reach the town of Colorado.
- From there, we will continue our journey along the inter-oceanic highway until we reach Puerto Maldonado, where we will have the option of taking a flight to Cusco or Lima.
