Itinerary
Pick up from the airport – City Tour Cusco
1
Day 1
- The Tour Cusco and Machupicchu 8D/7N begins with the pick-up from the airport and transfer to the hotel, you will have the morning free to rest and especially acclimatize.
- 2:00 PM pick up from the hotel for the City tour, First place to visit koricancha (temple of the sun), guided tour of 45 minutes, and then head to the mobility.
- After 30 minutes in the car we will arrive to Sacsayhuaman (from Quechua saqsay = place of satiation and waman = falcon, meaning “Place where the falcon is satiated”) where we will have a guided tour of 1 hour.
- Then we will visit Qenqo (ritual center in a rocky outcrop) place of much mysticism that you will feel when you enter the rocky outcrop.
- After 15 minutes of mobility, we will arrive at PucaPucara (red fortress) military construction.
- The last visit will be to Tambomachay known as the Bath of the Inca where water worship was performed. After our journey, we will take the mobility for the return to Cusco, the approximate time of arrival being 7:00 pm.
Sacred Valley connection

Day 2
- We will pass by the hotel at 8.00 am to start the tour of the sacred valley, after traveling 1 hour and a half in mobility we will arrive at the ruins of Pisaq in where we will have a guided tour of 1 hour approx.
- Traveling in the direction of the river willka mayu or the sacred river we will arrive to Urubamba capital of the sacred valley where we will have a buffet lunch (typical Andean food).
- After lunch we will travel 30 minutes by car to reach the town of Ollantaytambo to visit the archaeological site where we will have a guided tour of 1 hour, highlighting the Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana, and the Princess Baths, and Andean terraces.
- After having a guided tour of Ollantaytambo we have to go to the train station to board the train that will take us to Aguas Calientes where we will spend the night to visit Machu Picchu the next day (IN THE EVENING THE GUIDE WILL PASS BY THE HOTEL TO GIVE YOU ALL THE DETAILS FOR YOUR VISIT TO MACHU PICCHU).
Machu Picchu Citadel

Day 3
- Very early we will go to take the bus that will take us to the lost city of the Incas (Machu Picchu) will last 30 minutes and the guide will be waiting for you.
- Arriving at the citadel of Machu Picchu to enter we will show an entrance ticket, from this place will begin the guided tour of 2 hours and 30 minutes where you will be explained the informative part of Machu Picchu. then you will have some free time.
- Then we will return to the town of Aguas Calientes to have lunch.
- After lunch, we will go to the train station to board the train that will take us to Ollantaytambo.
- Already in Ollantaytambo station will be waiting for you a representative of Chullos Travel Peru with a sign and your name who will take us to your vehicle to return to Cusco and take you to the hotel.
Moray – Salt Maras

Day 4
- The tour starts with pick up from the hotel at 8:00 am to go to the picturesque town of Maras.
- After passing through the town of Maras we will go to Moray where the agricultural laboratory is located which is a place of concentration of feminine energy, which is considered as a magnetic center of the Pachamama where we will have a guided tour of 40 minutes.
- After the guided tour in Moray we will take our mobility to go for 30 minutes to go the salt mines “salineras” we will have a guided tour of about 1 hour and we will have time to make some purchases of salt bags or any souvenir items.
- We will return by the same route to Cusco, the approximate time of arrival is 3:00 pm.
Rainbow Mountain

Day 5
- We will go to the hotel at 4.00 am and travel in mobility for 2 hours and 30 minutes to reach the village of Anchi Pacha, where we will enjoy a buffet breakfast.
- Then we will continue our journey to the beginning of the trail called Quesyuno (4,326 m / 14,189 ft.). Along this trail, there are breathtaking views of agricultural terraces, canyons and snow-capped mountains.
- Once you reach the trailhead our guide will give you a short instruction of the area and the last reaches to finally start a hike of approximately 2.5 hours on a moderate hike.
- During the journey, you will appreciate a variety of South American camelids, spectacular ecosystems typical of this place and views of the snow-capped Ausangate.
- At 10:30 approximately we will arrive at our destination called Vinicunca or Rainbow Mountain (5,020 m / 16,466 ft.) after a view of the place we will begin the descent by the same path to the mobility and then return to the restaurant.
- Then we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch and after a short rest, we will start our return trip to Cusco arriving at approximately 6:30 pm.
Humantay Lake

Day 6
- At 4:00 am we will pick you up at your hotel and travel to the town of Mollepata where we will have breakfast.
- Then we will continue our journey to Soraypampa where we will begin our 1 hour and 30 minutes walk to the Humantay lagoon which has an altitude of 4 250 m.a.s.l. during the tour, we will appreciate the fauna and flora of the place.
- Then descend to Soraypampa to take the mobility to Mollepata where we will enjoy a delicious lunch and then return to the city of Cusco arrival Approx 6:00 pm.
Q’eswachaka Inca Bridge

Día 7
- We start with the pick-up from your hotel at 7:00 am, after almost two hours of travel through the south of Cusco we will visit the four lagoons.
- After enjoying a quiet moment near the lagoons, we will visit the small volcano of Pabellones which is located near the town of Yanaoca.
- Then we will arrive at the impressive Inca bridge. This Inca hanging bridge is made of vegetable fiber (Ichu) and is located over the Apurimac River in the district of Quehue.
- The existence of this bridge dates back to Inca times. Renovation and maintenance are done once a year by local people from the four surrounding communities. Before starting the renovation of the bridge an offering is given as a sign of respect and gratitude to the Pachamama.
- We will have the opportunity to cross the Inca bridge from both sides. But be careful, it looks easy, but it takes courage.
- On the way back to Cusco we will make a last visit to the colonial Inca bridge of Checacupe where you will be able to see the differences between both bridges. This interesting trip ends in the city of Cusco at approximately 5 pm.
Transfer to the airport

Day 8
- Depending on the time of your flight, the shuttle will go to your hotel to transfer you to the airport or bus terminal.
