Where is Los Organos Beach Located?

This unique beach is located in northern Peru, 15 minutes from Mancora, in the town of the same name, in the province of Talara, in the Piura region.

The town of Los Organos, despite being relatively small, has shops, markets, pharmacies, a hospital, BCP bank branches, ATMs, and a Banco de la Nación branch. There are also hotels and restaurants in the center of Los Organos.

How to Get to Los Organos Beach?

Option 1: Lima – Piura – Los Organos

Take a flight from Lima (Jorge Chavez International Airport) to Piura (Guillermo Concha Iberico International Airport).

Take a bus from Piura to Los Organos.

From the airport, you can take a shared taxi (approximately 40 soles), with a journey time of about 2 hours.

Option 2: Lima – Talara – Los Organos

We will take a flight from Lima (Jorge Chavez International Airport) to Talara (Capitan FAP Victor Montes Arias International Airport).

We will then take a bus from Piura to Los Organos.

By private car, approximately 120 soles, journey time approximately 1 hour.

You are enjoying your stay in Mancora, but would prefer a quieter place.

You can take a bus from Mancora to Los Órganos.

Another option is to take a private taxi, a 15-minute ride, costing between 15 and 25 soles.

Sea turtles and whales?

Swimming with sea turtles: When in Mancora, it’s common to visit sea turtles in Ñuro or Los Órganos. Los Órganos is much more accessible. The tours usually last 3 hours. Prices vary depending on whether the activity is done by yacht or boat, starting at 100 soles.

Whale watching: Between June, July, and August is humpback whale and dolphin season. During this season, whales migrate to areas near the equator, seeking warm waters rich in organic matter. The Peruvian north coast is influenced by the El Niño current, making it the perfect place for humpback whales to reproduce and raise their young. Whale watching tours usually last 4 hours.
