Lake of Miracles
Laguna de los Milagros is formed by the seepage of groundwater from Cerro de Belén. It has a surface area of 40,000 square meters and a maximum depth of 8 meters. Its calm waters reflect the surrounding landscape, creating a very beautiful environment. Furthermore, it covers an area of approximately 20 hectares, making it one of the largest and most flood-prone areas during the winter season.

The Laguna de los Milagros is located in the hamlet of Los Milagros, in the José Crespo y Castillo district, Leoncio Prado province, Huánuco region, Peru.
Opening Hours
Visits to the Laguna de los Milagros are recommended between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

How to get there?
By car: From the city of Tingo María, head towards the hamlet of Los Milagros. The journey takes 30 minutes and costs approximately S/. 8.00. Once you reach the village, you have to walk for 10 minutes to get to the lagoon.
Current status
The area is in good condition, but it only has basic amenities nearby, and tourist facilities such as accommodation, nightclubs, pubs, banks, and other services can only be found in the city of Tingo María.
