How to get to the Mamahuarmi hot springs complex from Lima?
Churín is located 207 kilometers north of Lima, and there are two options. The first is from the Lima fence on Avenida Zabala. You can find a bus for 20 to 25 soles, leaving at 7:30 a.m. The second option is from Los Olivos at the Infantas bus station.
The trip to Churín takes approximately 4 to 5 hours, and the complex is located 8 minutes from the plaza.
Complex Pools
- This complex features hot springs with medicinal properties and temperatures ranging from 35°C to 55°C. They also contain lithium, magnesium, and aluminum, which are ideal for detoxifying the body.
- The Bride and Groom Pool has a temperature of 30°C and clear waters. It also has a small grotto where the bride and groom can swear their eternal love.
- The Bride’s Veil Pool features a waterfall similar to a bride’s veil.
- The Mamahuarmi Pool has a shallow pool with warm water.
- The Geiser Pool has cold waters.
- The Pacarina Pool has the warmest water in the complex.

The best months to visit Churín are during the hot season, which runs from June, July, August, and September, with August being the hottest month.
