The San Pedro Ceremony is performed by a priest or Shaman of specialty accompanied by an assistant translator guide. We do daily retreats outside the city of Cusco, in a private place in nature. We also do the Wachuma or San Pedro ceremony inside the ruins of Machupicchu with all the necessary care for your safety. If you want San Pedro in Machupicchu, reserve your experience in advance, spaces are limited, (we take you privately with a maximum group of 4 people). The ceremony of San Pedro is soft, does not produce vomiting and is to walk enjoying nature, connecting with mother earth, you can even have a spiritual connection in the ruins of Machupicchu with the Inca spirits.
History
San Pedro or Wachuma Ceremony in Cusco, Known in pre-Columbian times as “Wachuma”.
The San Pedro is a cactus native to the Andes and was used by pre-Inca civilizations up to 4000 years ago especially by the priests of the Chavin de Huantar culture. It is also described as the spirit of the hummingbird, the energetic home of san pedro in the Andes.
The ancestral medicine based on native herbs, considered the only medicine for the spirit that exists, is a legacy left by ancient cultures that is still maintained thanks to the passing of knowledge from father to son “shaman” and today is known worldwide as the san pedro.
San Pedro ceremonies in Cusco are performed with psychological preparation and physical cleansing and last approximately 5 to 7 days depending on the individual healing process. The ceremony is conducted by an experienced shaman or spiritual guide.
Wachuma (San Pedro) Ceremony and the 5 Andean Inca Techniques
Volcanic Medicinal Water .- It is a purgative of different natural minerals (it detoxifies the immune system in general). Volcanic water cleanses the esophagus, stomach, intestines and kidneys, eliminates toxic substances that are expelled orally, urinary or anal. Preferably take it one day before the ceremony of San Pedro (Wachuma).
Coca Reading .- It is a means of communication, guide or oracle where you find answers to your questions. It allows to make a diagnosis of the state and personal orientation. We detect your problems. We evaluate and help you solve in the whole healing process, it can be a powerful addition to your San Pedro ceremony.

Wachuma or San Pedro Ceremony (1) .- Personal process of internal and external self-healing reflection. The ceremony of San Pedro (Wachuma) is a retribution and connection with Pachamama.

Ceremony process
The first ceremony is about initiation.
The second is about purification.
Third is about enlightenment.
In the first session you will begin to feel, listen and connect with your heart. You will also connect with your spirit and soul to remember your essence. You will begin to practice the Inca Bioenergetic Meditation, in which you will cleanse and heal. You will learn to trust the Wachuma (San Pedro) plant and understand its effects.
The second ceremony is about purification, with which you will begin to explore your inner self. A large part of your physical and energetic body urges evolution. You will begin to explore deeper questions and reach higher levels of consciousness and sharpen your senses.
The third ceremony will be more likely to find the answer to all your questions. You will also connect completely with your essence, your spirit, and your soul. With your physical and energetic problems healed, you will be completely enlightened.
During the Ceremony
You are conscious the entire time; you will never lose consciousness. Your senses are more acute than normal, which means you can heal and purify consciously.
Diet before the San Pedro Ceremony.
To begin the San Pedro ceremony, it is recommended to follow a diet for 1, 2, or 3 days before the ceremony.
The diet should consist exclusively of fruits and vegetables.
It is not recommended to eat meat, fish, citrus fruits, salt, sugar, fried foods, oil, butter, soft drinks, cigarettes, marijuana, chemical medications, alcohol, or any other drugs at least 24 hours before the ceremony.
It is not recommended to have sexual relations before the ceremony. In particular, on the morning before the ceremony, it is recommended to eat only two pieces of banana or apple and drink plenty of water.
The day after the ceremony, it is recommended to continue with the diet for 1 or 2 more days because the San Pedro plant continues to heal. However, if you contaminate it, the healing process is interrupted.
People with any of the following conditions cannot participate:
Anyone who did not follow the diet for at least 24 hours before the ceremony.
Pregnant women.
People who suffer from epilepsy.
Schizophrenia or mental health patients.

Recommendations
You must inform us of any pre-existing physical or mental illness or condition.
Acclimatize for one or two days prior to arrival in Cusco.
It is important to fast or consume only juice or salad on the days prior to the treatment, avoid alcohol, cigarettes, heavy meals, maintain a healthy diet, and increase rest.
A brief interview with the specialist is important to resolve any questions or concerns.
Bring extra water and fruit.
The effect can last 3-5 hours, depending on the dose.
If you wish, you can share and bring the energy of personal items such as stones, quartz, amulets, and images, etc., all with the aim of integrating the ceremony into unity.
