Live this curious and colorful experience by choosing the Cholitas valientes tour: The challenge in the ring; which has a very similar style to American wrestling, adding that the “Cholitas valientes” better known as the Cholitas Wrestling give the Andean touch to this wrestling with their colorful costumes.

This show was born when men’s wrestling was in decline in La Paz, Bolivia.
During the tour you will be able to observe that while the announcer announces the first fight, two women with cholitas clothes get into the ring, since in the ring they fight a little in jest and the other as much in truth, the blows that are given can be from light to coarse; the sound of their bodies against the carpet of the ring is vibrant and the bounce on the ropes of the ring are tragicomic, because many of them practice it for sport, others for tradition and some of them to iron out the laziness and as it is wrestling anything goes!

Itinerary

Bolivia – Cholitas Combat

Day 1

The tour Cholitas valientes: El Desafío en el Ring, with the pick up of the passengers from their hotels in La Paz, so that from there they can go to El Alto; place where the activity will take place.

After a short and entertaining (pleasant and/or enjoyable) tour of approximately 45 minutes, we will arrive at our destination, where you will be taken to the site where the cholita wrestling match will take place.

Once there, the VIP seats in front of the ring will be at your disposal, so you will enjoy privileged views of the ring and while you enjoy the fight, you can drink a soft drink of your choice accompanied with popcorn.

During the fight you will be able to observe spectacular fighting techniques, including wrenches, flying kicks and the repertoire used to knock out the opponent.

After having enjoyed the spectacular tour Cholitas valientes: El Desafío en el Ring, you will return to the initial meeting point (La Paz) in the same bus.

100% recomendable Por nosotros tiene un 10, repetiríamos encantados. Para visitar la montaña arcoiris, lo mejor es contratar una excursión desde Cusco. Es un trekking muy duro, por la altitud, pero merece la pena. Jonathan, nuestro guia, nos fue cuidando durante todo el ascenso, animándonos a continuar y preocupándose de que nadie se pusiera verdaderamente malo. El traslado desde Cusco a la montaña estuvo muy bien. La minivan estaba limpia y bien equipada. Incluía desayuno y comida que fueron tipo buffet y también estuvieron excelentes. Nos prestaron bastones de senderismo para hacer el ascenso. Cogedlos, aunque estéis acostumbrados a no usarlos. En esta ocasión los vais a agradecer. Por cierto, vimos a un par de familias con niños pequeños. NO es un lugar para NIÑOS. La hipoxia es muy real, dolor de cabeza, uñas moradas, dolor muscular. Está a más de 5000m. No se puede ver esa cifra como solo un número. Este trekking es para adultos. Si vas en familia, plantéate mejor visitar otros lugares. La región de Cusco tiene muchísimo que ver.

Einfach wunderbar! Da ich nicht allzu sportlich bin und mich nicht überfordern wollte, habe ich bei den letzen 3 km ein Pferd gemietet, was ein paar andere in der Gruppe auch taten. Und ich habe es sehr genossen, mit dem Pferd in dieser wunderschönen Natur zu reiten. Relaxt kam icb obrn an und wanderte noch ca. 5 Minuten bergauf zum See. Beim See machte ich gemeinsam mit Wilfredo, unsrem Tourguide, eine kleine Apu-Pacha Mama Zeremonie, um uns bei Mutter Erde für alles zu bddanken, mit heiligen Coca Blättern. Das war ecgt berührend. Ich hab Wilfredo inspiriert, das mal auch gemeinsam mit einer ganzen Gruppe zu machen. 💜😊😇🙏 Das Runtergehen war relativ einfach und machte mir Spass. Der ganze Wandertrip ist 14 km lang, von denen ich selbst 11 km gjng. Zum Abschluss fuhrrn wir zu einem leckeren Essensplatz, wo ein köstliches Buffet angerichtet war. 😋 Gegenüber anderen Anbietern ist dieser Trip sehr günstig, und auch die Organisation hat super geklappt. Ich wurde ausreichend genug informiert über Alles. Alles in Allem ein sehr guter Tag! 🙏

Great Experience It was a great experience! It was really cool to see the mountain half in its original colour, the other half in snow; the contrast made it quite special. Kudos to our guide who went up to the mountain with us. It was definitely no easy task!

Caring guide Tito was very patient and caring. He did guide us well through the different ways and always looked out for the last ones (myself included). Rainbow Mountains + Red Valley is a must go! The walk to the Rainbow Mountain was a bit touch but it was worthy!!! Tito was a great tour guide who looked after all of us and explained about the area. Tito suggested to go to one of the walks around the Red Valley and it was stunniiiing!!! One of the most beautiful places I’ve seen in my life. Highly recommend to go to the Red Valley and, if you want to push yourself even further, go to the top of the mountain. It’s amazing
