Kayaking on Lake Titicaca, Lake Titicaca, one of the largest lakes in South America (8,372 km2) and the highest navigable lake in the world located in the Andes Mountains at an altitude of 3,812 meters above sea level, Peru-Puno. It has a mysterious origin and its cultural expression is the most distinctive of Peru due to its preservation of their ancestral customs, most of its population speaks ancient languages such as Quechua, Aymara and Uru.
Before navigating Lake Titicaca you will be given some guidelines or techniques on how to paddle to avoid injuries or fractures.

Day 1
First we will start with the respective pick up from the hotel to the Plaza de Armas at 9:00 am.
Then we will go to the port of Puno to give you some guidelines or paddling techniques.
Then we will get ready to sail to the Uros Islands.
During this adventure enjoy the beautiful natural scenery.
Arriving at our destination you will be able to capture the best views of the islands and Lake Titicaca.
Continuing the adventure we will sail the floating islands
We finish our adventure at the Plaza de Armas at approximately noon.

The level of physical exertion is moderate because you will be able to paddle at your own pace.
2.- Should I bring extra clothes?
It is very important that you bring some extra clothes since it is possible that you may get wet while paddling.
3.- How much acclimatization time should I have before my trip?
We recommend at least 2 days of acclimatization before the tour.
4.- What meals are included?
Meals are not included. However, it is recommended that you bring a picnic to enjoy with your friends, you will have plenty of time to eat your meals.
5.- About health and safety?
Participants must inform us before and during the tour about any illness or injury. Although our guides carry first aid kits, it is recommended that you bring your personal medication. We also suggest that you consult your doctor before booking this tour.
6.- Where to store your belongings?
Any belongings (suitcases and backpacks) that you do not wish to take with you during the tour can be safely left at your accommodation, as they have a luggage storage service. However, if you do not feel comfortable leaving your things there, you can also bring them to our office to store them during the tour.
7.- What is the best time to visit the Uros Islands?
The best time to visit the floating islands of the Uros is outside the rainy season, so try to book between March and October or preferably between June and July.
