We offer three different schedules for our tour to the floating islands of Uros from the city of Puno, each designed to suit the preferences and schedules of our travelers.

Floating Islands-Customs-Traditions

Morning
Our tour begins with the pick up of travelers from their hotels in Puno at 08:50 am. Then, we head to the port to embark on our journey to the floating islands of Uros in Lake Titicaca. We will sail at 09:00 am and, after approximately half an hour, we will arrive at the first islands, where we will be welcomed by members of the local community. During our visit, scheduled for 09:30 am, we will explore the culture and traditions of the Uros inhabitants, including their skills in fishing and the construction of totora reed rafts. We will return to Puno around noon, concluding this unforgettable experience.

Half day
For those who prefer to explore the wonders of Uros during the middle of the day, we offer an alternative itinerary. Travelers are scheduled to be picked up from their hotels at 11:50 am, followed by our departure from the main port of Puno at 12:00 pm. Our journey will take us back to the captivating floating islands of Uros, where we will arrive at around 12:30 pm. During our visit, which is scheduled to last approximately two hours, we will have the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the daily life of the inhabitants of Uros, exploring their traditions and admiring their unique handicrafts. Around 03:00 pm, we will bid farewell to Uros and head back to Puno, where we will arrive around 03:30 pm, concluding our excursion.

Afternoon.
We offer an afternoon option to explore the wonders of Uros. Pick up from hotels in Puno at 03:50 pm and departure from the port at 04:00 pm. During the half hour boat ride, you will enjoy panoramic views of the lake. Arriving in Uros at 04:30 pm, you will be welcomed by the local community. You will explore the islands and learn about the daily life of its inhabitants. At 06:00 pm, we will say goodbye and return to Puno, arriving at approximately 06:30 pm.
