They are located in the city of Chucuito, located approximately 18 kilometers from the city of Puno. Inca Uyo is known as the temple of fertility is a construction of the Inca period, at the entrance you will find two rocks carved in the shape of male member, plus 80 similar to the inside of the temple.
On the outside there is a giant stone positioned horizontally, it is said that it served as an observatory to define the auspicious times for agricultural activities, as well as a place where they worshiped fertility.
The temple corresponds to the Inca period. During the excavations that have been carried out, various instruments such as metals, stone, ceramics and carved bone elements were found. Puno – Chucuito – Uyos

Then we will head to the colonial town of Chucuito after approximately 20 minutes of travel.
Our first stop is the main square of Chucuito where you will find local handicrafts.
