Excursion 7 Ausangate Lakes from Cusco 1 Day, is a unique and enriching experience that connects you with nature and the living culture of the Andes. During this excursion, you will walk through one of the most beautiful circuits in southern Peru, visiting 7 lagoons of different shades (turquoise, emerald, light blue), formed by the melting of the snow-capped Ausangate, the fifth highest peak in the country and one of the most revered mountains.

The hike is of moderate difficulty with an approximate duration of 3 to 4 hours, allows visitors to admire high Andean landscapes, glaciers, meadows and a great diversity of local fauna such as alpacas, vizcachas, Andean birds and more. You will also have the opportunity to meet the inhabitants of the Pacchanta community, who keep alive their ancestral traditions, and enjoy their warm hospitality.

Day 1

Pick up from the hotel
We will start with the pick up from the hotel in Cusco at 04:00 hrs, and then head to the village of Pacchanta where we will have a nutritious breakfast.

Start of the hike
From the village of Pacchanta we will start a 5 hour hike to get to know this circuit of lakes.

Lunch
Later we will return to the village of Pacchanta (place where we will have lunch)

Thermal Waters
Optionally we can visit the thermal-medicinal waters of Pachanta if we still have time and previous coordination with our guide, the entrance have an additional cost of S/5.00

Return to Cusco
Finally we will return to the city of Cusco, arriving at approximately 19:00 and finish our tour Trekking Full day 7 Ausangate Lakes.
