Resumen
Isla del Sol y La Luna, is a tourist destination and a very important religious center known for its festivities, culture and tradition, is located at an altitude of 3800 m.a.s.l., and at a distance of 142 km from the city of Puno.
During the excursion (Copacabana Bolivia Tour 2 Days 1 Night) we will visit the Island of the Sun considered as the legendary birthplace of the Inca Empire; where the archaeological site Pilkokaina is located and also we will be able to know one of the chinkanas located in the place and the Sacred Rock, we will also observe ancient agricultural terraces, the remains of a temple that used to visit the emperor and the fountain of eternal youth, to culminate with neustro tour we will be visiting the Island of the Moon also called Coatí Island where we will visit the palace of the Virgins of the Sun.
Enjoy a day full of adventure sailing on the highest lake in the world accompanied by the beautiful landscapes, mountains surrounding Lake Titicaca.

Day 1
First we start with the pick up from the hotel in the city of Puno, to go to the terminal from where we will take the tourist bus to Copacabana. During the trip we will enjoy the beautiful landscapes surrounding Lake Titicaca.
Arriving at the border (Kasani) of Peru and Bolivia, we will make the respective procedures to enter Bolivia.
After completing all the formalities we will continue with the trip until we arrive in Copacabana where they will be waiting for us to drive us to the hotel.
We will have the afternoon free and night in Copacabana.

Day 2
We will start with the pick up from the hotel in Copacabana 08:00 hrs to go to the dock to board a shared boat from where we will start the tour to the Isla del Sol.
For which we will have to cross Lake Titicaca to reach the south side of the Isla del Sol, where we will visit the archaeological site of Pilkokaina (Temple of the Sun), built of stone and clay.

Then the south side of the Isla del Sol, where we will descend to the stairs of Yumani dating from Inca times, from this place we will have the most incredible views of Lake Titicaca, likewise these stairs will lead us to the Inka fountains of eternal youth.
Then we will descend to the dock to take the boat and go to Challapampa where we will visit the Chinkana and the sacred rock (where the sun was born and the founders of the Andean culture according to mythological stories).
Once we finish the tour in the Sun Island, we will return to the dock to go to our next destination, Moon Island, where we will visit the archaeological remains of the Temple of the Moon and the house of the Virgins of the Sun.
After the tour we will board the boat to return to Copacabana, arriving approximately at 17:00 hrs. In Copacabana we will have a short time to finally board the bus to return to the city of Puno where we will be arriving approx. at 21:00 pm.
