Day 1

ITINERARY

Hotel Pickup in Cusco approx. (4:00 – 5:00 a.m)

  • Your Private Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley Tour begins with pickup from your hotel in Cusco. We travel in private tourist transportation toward the southern Andes of Peru.

Buffet Breakfast in Cusipata

  • We arrive in the district of Cusipata, where you will enjoy a traditional Andean buffet breakfast including hot beverages, artisan bread, fresh fruits, and local products.

Transfer to the Hiking Starting Point

  • We continue by vehicle to the trailhead, where our hike to the famous Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca) begins, surrounded by breathtaking high-Andean landscapes.

Hike to Rainbow Mountain

  • We start a hike of approximately 2 hours along scenic trails surrounded by alpacas and the mountains of the Vilcanota Range, with incredible views of the Ausangate snow-capped mountain.

Arrival at Rainbow Mountain | Vinicunca
