Resumen

This incredible Tour Cusco and Machu Picchu 6 days 5 nights is full of adventures, we start the first day with a visit to the temple of the sun Qoricancha, continue with the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, then we will reach the archaeological complex of Qenqo, then Pukapukara and finally visit Tambomachay or known as the Inca spa. To enter these attractions we will need the general ticket that will serve us the first day and the second day in which we will have the tour to the Sacred Valley.
The second day we will leave early to the Sacred Valley where we will visit the archaeological site of Pisac, then we will have a break for lunch in Urubamba and then we will continue to the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo or commonly called Fortress, at the end of the guided tour the train will take us to Machu Picchu town where we will spend the night.

Very early in the morning we will board the buses that will leave us at the door of the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, we will have a guided tour of 2.5 hours in which we can appreciate the architecture and engineering of the Inca empire as well as a variety of flora and fauna present in the Sanctuary. In the afternoon we will return to the city of Cusco to finish the day.

he fourth day we will visit the salt mines of Maras or popularly known as salt mines, the area is made up of about 3 thousand natural salt wells, then we will continue with the visit to the archaeological center of Moray which is known as the agricultural laboratory of the Incas, at the end of the visit we will return to Cusco. The next day we will leave early in the morning to make the tour to the Colored Mountain, we will make a first stop in Tintinco for breakfast, then we will continue to the parking lot where we will start the hike up, we will have the guide and free time, then we will return to Tintinco for lunch and finally we will return to Cusco.

On the last day of our Cusco and Machu Picchu 6 days tour we will have transportation to the International Airport Teniente Alejandro Velasco Astete.

Itinerario

Pick up from the airport – City tour Cusco

The Cusco and Machu Picchu Tour 6 days 5 nights starts with the pick up from the airport and transfer to the hotel, you will have the morning free to rest and especially acclimatize.
At 2:00 p.m. will be the pick up from the hotel for the City tour, first place to visit koricancha (temple of the sun), guided tour of 45 minutes and then head to mobility.

After 30 minutes by car we will arrive at Sacsayhuaman (from the Quechua saqsay = place of satiation and waman = falcon, i.e. “Place where the falcon is satiated”) where we will have a 1 hour guided tour.
Last visit will be Tambomachay known as Bath of the Inca where water worship was performed. After our tour we will take the mobility to return to Cusco, approximate time of arrival 7:00 pm.

Sacred Valley Connection

Day 2

We will pass by the hotel at 8.00 am to start the tour of the sacred valley, after traveling 1 hour and a half in mobility we will arrive at the ruins of Pisaq in which we will have a guided tour of 1 hour approx.
Traveling in the direction of the river Willka Mayu or sacred river we will arrive to Urubamba capital of the sacred valley where we will have a buffet lunch (typical Andean food).
After lunch we will travel 30 minutes by car to reach the town of Ollantaytambo to visit the archaeological site where we will have a guided tour of 1 hour, highlighting the Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana and the Princess Baths and Andean terraces.
After having a guided tour of Ollantaytambo we have to go to the train station to board the train that will take us to Aguas Calientes where we will spend the night to visit Machu Picchu the next day (IN THE EVENING THE GUIDE WILL PASS BY THE HOTEL TO GIVE YOU ALL THE DETAILS FOR YOUR VISIT TO MACHU PICCHU).

Machu Picchu Citadel

Day 3

Very early we will go to take the bus that will take us to the lost city of the Incas (Machu Picchu) will last 30 minutes and the guide will be waiting for you.
Arriving at the citadel of Machu Picchu to enter we will show entrance ticket, from this place will begin the guided tour of 2 hours and 30 minutes where they will explain the informative part of Machu Picchu.
Then we will return to the town of Aguas Calientes to have lunch.
After lunch we will go to the train station to board the train that will take us to Ollantaytambo.
At the Ollantaytambo station, a representative of Chullos Travel Peru will be waiting for you with a sign and your names, who will take you to your transportation to return to Cusco and take you to your hotel

Moray – Salt maras

Day 4

The tour starts with pick up from the hotel at 8:00 am to go to the picturesque town of Maras.
After passing through the town of Maras we will go to Moray where the agricultural laboratory is located which is a place of concentration of feminine energy, which is considered as a magnetic center of the Pachamama where we will have a guided tour of 40 minutes.
After the guided in Moray we will take our mobility to travel for 30 minutes to go to the salt mines “salineras” we will have a guided tour of about 1 hour and we will have time to make some purchases of salt bags or any souvenir items.
We will return by the same route to Cusco, approximate time of arrival is 3:00 pm.

Mountain of Colors

Day 5

We will pass to the hotel at 4.00 am and travel in the mobility for 2 hours and 30 minutes until we arrive to the village of Tintinco, where we will enjoy a buffet breakfast.
Afterwards we will continue our trip to the beginning of the trail, once we arrive to the beginning of the trail our guide will give you a small instruction of the area and the last reaches to finally start a hike of approximately 2.5 hours by a moderate hike.
During the journey we will appreciate a variety of South American camelids also spectacular ecosystems of this place and views of the snow-capped Ausangate.
At 10:30 approximately we will arrive at our destination called Vinicunca or Rainbow Mountain (5,020 m / 16,466 ft.) after a view of the place we will begin the descent by the same road to the mobility and then return to the restaurant.
Then we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch and after a short rest we will start our return trip to Cusco arriving at approximately 6:30 pm.
