Day 1
Our tour starts with the pick up from your hotel to the center of La Paz from 08:00 – 08:30 a.m., and then go in our tourist transport to Tiahuanaco for approximately two hours to reach the town of Tiwanaku.
In the town of Tiahuanaco we will have our first visit to the Lithic Museum and Ceramic Museum where we will find remains of archaeological pieces of the Tiwanaku culture.
Continuing with our journey we will visit the archaeological complex of Tiwanaku where we will be able to appreciate the most important ceremonial centers such as:
-The temple of Kalasasaya
-The Sun Gate
-The Pyramid of Akapana
-The semi subway temple
-Pumapunku
The entire tour of the archaeological site lasts approximately two hours and 30 minutes. After our visit we will have a delicious lunch and in the afternoon we will board our transportation to return to La Paz. Arrival at approximately 16:00 hrs.
