Itinerario
Cusco – Cloud Forest – Pilcopata
1
Day 1
We will leave Cusco in the morning towards Paucartambo, and on the way we will have the opportunity to visit the impressive burial towers known as Chullpas de Ninamarca.
We will continue the excursion with an exploration of the Cloud Forest, where we will witness the beauty of the orchids, ferns and heliconias that adorn it.
In addition, we will have the opportunity to witness one of the most impressive spectacles of the jungle: the mating ritual of the Cock of the Rock, while we also observe the trogons and various species of birds.
At the end of the afternoon, we will arrive at our lodging, where we will stay overnight.
Pilcopata – Atalaya – Amazon Lodge

Day 2
After breakfast, we will continue our journey, in the course of which we will observe many species of birds, as well as visit coca leaf plantations.
We will head to the port of Atalaya, from where we will embark on a 30-minute boat ride to our lodge. In the afternoon, we will venture out to explore the mysterious jungle, and later, at nightfall, we will go on a night walk to discover various species.

Amazon Lodge – Parrot Clay Lick – Cocha Machuhuasi
Day 3
We will leave very early in the morning by boat to the parrot clay lick, one of the spectacles that nature offers us, we will be able to appreciate 3 to 4 species of parrots and small macaws.
Then we will continue by boat to Machuhuasi, here we will have a walk until we reach the lagoon where we will have to use rafts to navigate for about 1 hour.
Along the way we will observe a variety of birds, monkeys, ronsocos, reptiles, dwarf caimans and insects.
We will return in the afternoon to enjoy a well-deserved lunch.
In the evening we will learn more on the night hikes (optional).

Atalaya – Cusco
Day 4
After an early breakfast we will have to say goodbye to the jungle.
We will return by boat to the port of Atalaya, here our bus will be waiting for us to return to Cusco where we will arrive at approximately 6:00 – 7:00 pm.
