The tour starts in the city of Cusco with the respective pick up from your hotel and then go to the train station in Ollantaytambo to board the train to Machupicchu village (Aguas Calientes), the trip lasts approximately 4 hours from Cusco to Machupicchu village.
Once you arrive to Machupicchu town you will start the tour to the historical sanctuary of Machupicchu. The tour inside the citadel has a duration of 2 hrs 30 min., once the tour is finished we will return to Machupicchu town for our lunch and board the train to return to Ollantaytambo and then transfer to the city of Cusco.

Day 1: Cusco – Ollantaytambo
The tour to Machu Picchu one day, begins with the pick up from your hotel that is located within the historic center of Cusco at 4:00 a.m. (recommended time), then board our mobility and go to the train station in the town of Ollantaytambo for 2 hrs approximately.
Ollantaytambo train station
Once located in the train station we will find 2 companies Inca Rail and Peru Rail that operate the route Ollantaytambo – Machupicchu Pueblo (Viceversa). We will board the tourist train to Machu Picchu Pueblo, the travel time is approximately 2 hours.
Machu Picchu town
Once you arrive at the train station in Machu Picchu Pueblo our representative of Chullos Travel Peru, will be waiting for you with a sign with your name, to coordinate all the final details before the tour.
Then you will be transferred to the Consettur bus station to board the bus to the entrance gate of Machu Picchu, with a duration of 30 min.
At the entrance gate our guide will be waiting for you to start with the tour inside the citadel of Machu Picchu, you will know the most important points for a period of time of 2 hrs 30 min approx.
Lunch in Machu Picchu town
Once the tour is finished, we will return in the same transportation to Machu Picchu Pueblo, our guide will indicate the place of the restaurant where you can enjoy a delicious lunch. Likewise, you will have enough time to visit a large part of Machu Picchu village (small and picturesque village).
Return to Cusco city
According to the established time of return to Ollantaytambo we go 30 min before to the train station to board our respective train to Ollantaytambo (2 hrs approx.); our mobility will be waiting for your arrival for the respective transfer to return to the city of Cusco, the approximate time of arrival is at 8:30 pm.

There are five circuits in Machu Picchu: Llaqta de Machupicchu, Machupicchu Mountain + Circuit 3, Circuit 4 + Waynapicchu Mountain, Circuit 4 + Huchuypicchu Mountain, Circuit 1 or 2 + Inca bridge, these circuits have only one direction of travel without the option to return; likewise, the ticket to Machu Picchu does not have the option of re-entry the ticket is for personal use and only one.
