Sacred Valley by Bike
Live an unforgettable experience with our bike tour to the traditional tourist sites of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, an adventure designed especially for cycling and nature lovers. This unique route will allow you to explore breathtaking Andean landscapes while pedaling to the three most representative destinations of the region: the beautiful Huaypo Lake, the enigmatic circular terraces of Moray and the millenary salt mines of Maras. The tour perfectly combines the thrill of the sport with the cultural and historical richness of Cusco, all in one day.
We start with the transfer from your accommodation to the starting point, where you will receive your mountain bike and safety equipment. From there we will start a journey through rural roads, crossing fields, small villages and unique natural scenery. On the way we will make a stop at Huaypo Lake, ideal to rest and enjoy the view, and then continue to Moray, an ancient Inca agricultural laboratory used for seed climatology. Finally we descend by bike to the picturesque village of Maras and arrive at the impressive Salineras de Maras, a set of thousands of salt ponds still in use since pre-Inca times.
It is a tour of moderate difficulty, recommended for people with basic cycling experience, with an approximate distance of 30 to 35 km. This experience not only connects you with nature, but also immerses you in the living history of the Andes, a different and exciting way to discover the Sacred Valley!
