Full Day Pacaya Samiria Reserve

Day 1

 Our team will pick you up at your hotel in Iquitos at 8:00 am in the morning to begin this exciting journey.

We will start our journey by road to Nauta, where you will be met at the pier by our guide who will accompany you throughout the day. We will board a comfortable boat to navigate the Marañon River and head towards the source of the Amazon River, located between the Marañon and Ucayali rivers (Ucamara).
During the trip, we will enjoy the spectacular view while observing the fascinating gray and pink dolphins that inhabit these waters.

Optional: We will make a stop for a swim in the “Yarapa” river, known for its black waters. You will feel the unique energy of the Amazon rainforest as you dive into these refreshing waters.

 We will enjoy a typical Amazonian lunch on board the boat, with authentic dishes from the region.
We will explore areas of the jungle to observe monkeys in their natural habitat, an experience that will bring you closer to the rich biodiversity of the Amazon.

 We will participate in fishing for piranhas and other Amazonian species, an exciting activity that is part of daily life in the jungle.

We will continue the expedition with the observation of impressive giant trees, some of which are emblematic of the region.

We will conclude our activities and head back to the Nauta pier to prepare for our return. Approximate time of arrival 7pm (depending on flight schedule).
