Tour Uros Taquile + Amantani Islands 2D/1N
The Uros Taquile and Amantani Islands Tour is a 2 day adventure in Puno, where the first day we will visit the Uros Island and learn the way of life of one of the oldest cultures of the continent, then continuing with the tour we will have lunch with one of the families of the next natural island that we will visit.
The island of Amantani is one of the largest in Lake Titicaca, where you will spend the first night and the last day very early breakfast and continue touring the island, you can observe the existence of a system of platforms, as well as the ceremonial center of Pachatata, among others.

Uros Island and Amantani

Day 1
We will start the Uros Taquile and Amantani Islands Tour with the pick up from your hotel at 7:30 a.m.
Then we will go to the port where the boats leave to the famous floating islands of the Uros. Once on the floating islands our guide will explain the interesting history of the islands and the local culture.
We will continue our trip for approximately three hours to the island of Amantani. Here we will be met by a member of a local family who will take us to their home for lunch.
In the afternoon you can hike to the top of the island to watch the beautiful sunset over Lake Titicaca.

Day 2
The day begins with a traditional breakfast prepared by the family, then we will say goodbye and continue with the trip to the island of Taquile (1 hour by boat), on the way we can see beautiful landscapes surrounding Lake Titicaca.
We will continue our trip walking to the top of the island, where we will have the opportunity to visit the handicraft markets of the village and see the different chullos made by the men of the island.
Before leaving the island, we will have a typical lunch with a spectacular view of the lake.
After descending the 538 stone steps we will take our boat back to the city of Puno.
Arrival time approximately 18:00 p.m. hours.
